A traditional rich Quebec sugar pie. This will satisfy every sweet tooth. Makes one 9 inch pie [22 cm] |

| 1-1/2 cups | Brown sugar | 375 mL | |
| 1 tbsp | Butter | 15 mL | |
| 1/2 cup | Milk | 125 mL | |
| 1/4 cup | Flour | 50 mL | |
| 1 tbsp | Corn syrup | 15 mL | |
| Pastry for double crust pie | |||

Preheat over to 375°F [190°C].
In a sauce pan, mix the sugar and flour. Add butter, corn syrup and milk; mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil for a few minutes, then cool. |
