RICE PILAF

A tasty way to serve rice.

1/2 cup Uncooked fine broken noodles broken in pieces 125 mL
1/2 cup Long grain rice 125 mL
10 oz. can Chicken broth 285 mL
2 tbsp. Butter 25 mL
1/3 cup water Water 75 mL


In saucepan, brown noodles in butter; stir often. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.

Cover, simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir often.

NOTE: In place of broken noodles you can use the dried soup mix of fine noodles with vegetables.
