CHOCOLATE CRACKER BARS |

| 3/4 cup | Granulated sugar | 175 mL | |
| 1 cup | Butter | 250 mL | |
| 1 pkg. (12 oz) | Semi-sweet Chocolate chips | 1 pkg. (345 g) | |

Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C]. Place crackers on foil-lined large cookie sheet. Melt butter and sugar in saucepan over medium-high heat. Heat to boiling; boil until sugar is completely dissolved. Spread over crackers. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips; let stand for 3 to 5 minutes then, using the back of a spoon, spread melted chocolate over baked layer.
Option Sprinkle on top of chocolate layer a crushed snicker or butterfingers candy bar.
Cool for about 8 hours and break or slice into pieces.
